Are you getting ready to plan your next big family vacation?  In my opinion, one of the keys to successfully planning a family getaway is to make certain to involve the entire family in the planning process.

Often, only one parent will take care of all of the family vacation planning.  From my observations, it seems like this duty often falls upon the mom.  While one person my be the driving force behind the planning process, it is important to include the entire family.  There are many reasons that this should bge gone, including:

• It guarantees there will be something every enjoys on the vacation
• The entire family can take ownership of the vacation
• It gets everyone excited about the vacation
• It starts the family bonding before the actual vacation begins

When the entire family gathers around to look over the brochures and travel information that has been accumulated, it provides you with an opportunity to spend time together and to learn more about each other’s interests.  It also guarantees that everyone has something special to look forward to.
